Everest is a promising young buckling that the universe brought into our program.
When Everest was only about 2 weeks old, I commented on a picture that his breeder had posted because I was so drawn to him. At the time I wasn’t planning to add another prospective herdsire until the following spring. Fast forward about 10 weeks when I ran into Lisa from Dwarf Lunacy at an ADGA show and met the most gorgeous doe, Daisy! (Along with all the other gorgeous does from Dwarf Lunacy showing that day) Daisy is so elegant and dairy. Her entire head shape is just beautiful! But her soft dairy skin and absolutely stunning udder spoke to me! Low and behold her buckling was somehow still available, and it didn’t take much consideration- I needed to bring him to Dove Hollow.
Everest’s dam, Dwarf Lunacy Shasta Daisy was held over as a yearling and a a first freshener at 2 years old. Her udder is glorious and soft. Milking 6# on test, Daisy is following very closely in the hooves of her granddams , Wooly Dog Down FX Hibiscus 3*M ELITE (1200+ #!!) and Dreahook BB Marigold ELITE (also 1200+ #!!!)
Sire’s dam Tangled Forest Apache Princess 6*M VEEE91 is also approaching 1200# production.
The production volume, udders and LA scores behind this gorgeous buck are swoon worthy and I absolutely can not wait to see what he does for our little herd! So many great things to come.
